The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) has issued a new Provider Information Notice (PIN) announcing organizational changes within the Adult and Senior Care Program (ASCP). These changes include the appointment of a new Regional Manager in the Riverside ASC Regional Office, the establishment of a new San Bernardino ASC Regional Office, and the reorganization of the San Bernardino, Riverside, and San Diego ASC Regional Offices. The purpose of these changes is to optimize administrative services, evenly distribute workloads, and improve resident safety. Healthcare facilities must familiarize themselves with the new regional office structures and contact information. The PIN also announces the appointment of a new Assistant Program Administrator for Central, Field Operations 3. Healthcare facilities should direct any questions regarding the reorganization to the appropriate regional office or the ASCP Program Office.
