We will also launch a PRO subscription starting March 1st to ensure the sustainability of Clearpol and to continuously improve the platform for all users. After March 1st, many existing, new, and future features will require a PRO subscription.

The California Department of Public Health has issued an All Facilities Letter announcing a new federal civil money penalty (CMP) grant opportunity for skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and nursing facilities (NFs). The grant allows facilities to receive up to $3,000 to purchase materials such as tents, clear partitions, and installation costs to support in-person visitation. Facilities must complete an electronic application template and submit it to CMPGrantApplications@cdph.ca.gov. Requests are limited to a maximum of $3,000, and applicants cannot use the standard CMP reinvestment application process to obtain additional funds. Applications will be reviewed within 14 business days, and approved projects must meet eligibility criteria, benefit SNF residents, and adhere to proposed outcome metrics, budget, and distribution of funds. Facilities that received funding for the communicative technology program may still request and receive funding for the in-person visitation aid grant.
