Clearpol's Summary of this Guidance

The State of California's Health and Human Services Agency has issued a letter to inform healthcare facilities of the new FY 2018-19 license renewal fees, effective since July 1, 2018. The attached fee schedule is available on the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) website, and renewal notices and applications will be sent to the facility's licensee 45-120 days prior to the license expiration date. Late payment penalties will be imposed on delinquent facilities, and California law does not allow a grace period for payment of license fees. If the number of beds/facilities listed on the renewal fee page is incorrect, facilities must contact the Centralized Applications Unit (CAU) immediately to correct the information. CHCQ recommends licensees use a mailing method that includes the ability to track the status of mailed payments.
