The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) has issued a Provider Information Notice (PIN) announcing an informational call on March 15, 2023, for Adult and Senior Care (ASC) licensees and their staff. The call will discuss the end of the COVID-19 State of Emergency and its implications for ASC facilities, including new public health orders, guidance on masking, staff vaccination, isolation, and quarantine. Additionally, the call will cover reporting requirements, Norovirus, and anticipated new guidance. ASC licensees are encouraged to have their staff join the call and to monitor the Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) homepage for updated information regarding COVID-19.
