The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) has issued a new Provider Information Notice (PIN) introducing courtesy Infection Control Plan forms for Adult and Senior Care (ASC) facilities, excluding Adult Residential Facilities for Persons with Special Health Care Needs (ARFPSHNs). The forms include sections for Infection Control Plan and Emergency Infection Control Plan. The Adult Day Program Infection Control Plan (LIC 9283) and Residential Infection Control Plan form (LIC 9282) are designed to help licensees meet Infection Control Requirements regulations. The residential form can be used for various facilities, but not for ARFPSHNs. These forms provide a comprehensive template for developing Infection Control Plans and Emergency Infection Control Plans, helping applicants and licensees meet the requirements outlined in the California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 22. The Infection Control Plan forms can be accessed on the CDSS Forms and Publications webpage. Any questions regarding the PIN should be directed to the Adult and Senior Care Regional Office.
