The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) has issued a Provider Information Notice (PIN) announcing an informational call on June 16, 2021, for Adult and Senior Care licensees and their staff. The call will discuss regaining physical, mental, and social well-being after the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns. A panel of experts in geriatrics and intellectual and developmental disabilities will provide practical advice on helping individuals feel and function better. The call will also review updated testing guidance in PIN 21-28-ASC, with an opportunity for participants to ask questions. The CDSS encourages licensees and staff to view a PowerPoint presentation available on the CCLD website during the call. Interpretation services in several languages are available at no cost. CDSS will start Zoom translation with the July provider informational call.
