The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) has issued a new Provider Information Notice (PIN) announcing an informational call for Adult and Senior Care (ASC) licensees and their staff on March 17, 2021. The call will focus on pandemic updates and preventing and addressing compassion fatigue and caregiver burnout. Panelists will provide guidance on understanding the causes of these issues, recognizing signs and symptoms, and implementing strategies to prevent and address them during crisis care. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions during the call. The CDSS encourages licensees and staff to view the accompanying PowerPoint presentation available on the Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) website while participating in the call. For any questions regarding the PIN, ASC providers should contact their local Adult and Senior Care Regional Office.
