The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) has issued a new Provider Information Notice (PIN) announcing informational calls to discuss COVID-19 social distancing, isolation, and disinfection procedures for nursing homes and other healthcare facilities. The Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) will host two calls on March 31, 2020, featuring guest speakers George K. Kutnerian and Josh Allen. The calls aim to provide licensees with best practices for isolation and disinfection during the COVID-19 outbreak. Each call is limited to the first 5,000 participants and will include an opportunity to ask questions. Licensees are encouraged to participate in one of the calls and view the Social Distancing, Isolation, and Disinfection Procedures Presentation available on the CCL website while participating on the call.
