The time in/out data, along with the client's care plan, will be considered acceptable documentation. If a HCSSA does not use a time sheet system, staff must document progress or other notes for non-delegated tasks. Delegated tasks must still be documented in the client's record as per existing regulations. No new actions are required for nursing homes or healthcare facilities unless they do not currently use a time sheet system for documenting non-delegated tasks.
